We specialize in producing quality seed from California native grasses and forbs. We grow, clean and test our seed to provide a quality product of known origin.

Our products are from bioregional sites in the North Central Valley, Valley Foothills and Central Inner Coast Range. Single species and seed mixes are available for any of your restoration and landscaping needs. Please view Species and Descriptions for a detailed list of available seeds.

Plug Plants
Native California grasses, sedges, rushes and forbs are also available as plug plants for planting during the Fall, Winter and Spring. Plugs, or transplants, are grown from our own seed, which we collect, grow and clean with extra care. We can grow custom orders from our seed or your own collections. Plug plants are grown in 1" x 1 "x 2 1/2" cells in trays of 200. Order 14 to 16 weeks prior to first planting date. Ready to plant plugs can be held for 2 to 3 months or more. Native Grass Straw
Native grass straw is an excellent option for erosion control. We now offer straw that has been inspected and CDFA certified as Noxious-Weed Free. The best time to order straw is summer and early fall. We do still have some straw bales left from the 2007 harvest at a discounted price.
