Hedgerow Farms' Native Erosion Control Mix

This seed mix was designed by Hedgerow Farms staff to create fast-growing and long-lasting erosion control using native perennial and annual plant species. It includes:

3 California native grass species and one native clover species
Native local ecotypes originally derived from Northern California wildland collections
Fast growing species that can established with normal rainfall without supplemental irrigation
Deep-rooted species for control throughout the depth of the soil profile
Seeding rate of 45 bulk pounds per acre
